3 Stars The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly
First, the Good: These paper tow­els are strong and well made. Where I once used 3 or 4 paper tow­els for a job, 1 of these is more than enough. Also, I acci­den­tally washed a cou­ple of these (in jacket pocket), and they came out like new! Unlike other paper tow­els that shred and make a mess in my lint fil­ter, when I pulled these out, I thought they were small dish tow­els.

Sec­ond, the Bad: They do leave behind lint when used for wash­ing win­dows, mir­rors, etc. Solu­tion — don’t use them for that.

Third, the Ugly: (And this was the deal-breaker for me) They stink! The first few times I bought them, no prob­lem. But, I’ve bought a cou­ple of pack­ages that had a very notice­able odor to them. (Another reviewer men­tioned this as well). So notice­able in fact, that I quit buy­ing them.

5 Stars Soft­est Paper Towel Out There
I found the Viva Tow­els to be the soft­est, most ver­si­tile paper towel. I use it for every­thing! All spills, messes and cleanups as well as wip­ing my kids’ noses. (with­out any com­plaints that it hurts!)It is also very good for hands that are con­stantly washed while cook­ing and being with the kids since the paper towel is like a soft cloth. I get the case pack (32 rolls)delievered to my home every three months via Amazon’s Sub­scribe and Save pro­gram, so on top of the already good price I get it for an addi­tional 15% off!

2 Stars Leaves Lint and Sticks to Microwave Food
I’ve used Viva for years and after buy­ing this new type, find it’s not an improve­ment at all. The tow­els leave behind lint when clean­ing glass and mir­rors. I called the com­pany to com­plain that they stick to microwave food. For exam­ple, the pre-made break­fast sand­wiches in the gro­cery refrig­er­ated sec­tion direct to wrap the sand­wich in a paper towel and microwave for 45 sec­onds. The towel will adhere to the sand­wich leav­ing you to pick stuck paper off your food. At times, remov­ing it imme­di­ately works, but not always. In addi­tion, the rolls have gone from 39.7 to 36.9 sq ft and as I read in another review are now even less.

What a deal and great tow­els. They are so thick and absorbent. And the cost/value of this in bulk is won­der­ful! My house­hold goes through paper tow­els at no end, and these really are durable, strong, and super absorbent, which allows us less need to overuse! A++
