1 Star Very Dis­s­ap­pointed
I bought this and when it arrived the cen­ter part which would hold the roll of paper tow­els was bro­ken off. Must have hap­pened dur­ing ship­ping. Haven’t had a chance to return it yet. Not sure I would repur­chase. Doesn’t appear to be well made or durable.

2 Stars not sturdy
I bought this based on the good review of oth­ers. I have to say i am dis­ap­pointed in this product.

It is attrac­tive, but the black ball feet are put on my holder in such a way that just touch­ing the thing makes it fall over. Per­haps mine is defec­tive, but how would i know? This is aggra­vat­ing to me.

a side note. The paper towel dust cre­ated while using this prod­uct shows instantly.

5 Stars Replace­ment Paper Towel Holder
This was fairly inex­pen­sive and was a per­fect fit color and style­wise for my newly remod­eled kitchen. I love it!

I am dig­ging the Spec­trum Scroll line of kitchen acces­sories. This paper towel holder as the pre­vi­ous review states looks so much bet­ter in per­son. I also own the uten­sil holder which is an absolute beauty. Very taste­ful pieces that will spruce up your kitchen in style.

Over­all, we are sat­is­fied with our pur­chase. The item shipped quickly and dam­age free. I must say though, we felt the price was a bit much for the over­all fit/finish of the item. Was expect­ing a bit heav­ier gauge metal. So far it has held up well though. All in all, we would rec­om­mend with the caveat of look­ing else­where if you are look­ing for a “sturdy” shelf.

Beau­ti­ful towel rack. I love it’s curves. Very styl­ish. The color is gor­geous. Nice and sturdy, too.

I pur­chased the hotel/train rack for our bath­room. My 12-year old con­stantly left the hair dryer and the straight­en­ing iron plugged in and hang­ing down from the recep­ta­cle. I put this shelf to the right of the sink, just above the recep­ta­cle, put rolled hand tow­els on the top shelf and placed the hair items across the hooks. Works well and looks great. The color is a nice oil-rubbed bronze which matches our fix­tures perfectly.

4 Stars nice to have if you have space
Its way smaller than a nor­mal towel and it actu­ally dries you off really fast. I actu­ally used one in Iraq, it was just less vol­ume to pack than a con­ven­tional towel. Not sure if I would actu­ally take it backpacking…I would most likely just dry off with a shirt or some­thing and just hang it up.

4 Stars Light­weight & super-absorbent
The Fab­ric:

* Lisse Crepe — their orig­i­nal towel. Also the most sub­stan­tial (heav­i­est and thick­est) of the three ver­sions Aquis offers (Lisse Crepe, Waf­fle, “Terry”)

* Tex­ture: very short pile, no vis­i­ble loops. Not a fluffy towel.

* Slightly clingy, when dry­ing your­self.

* A lit­tle sta­tic in the dryer (but not as much as their microfi­bre “terry” ver­sion)

* Very absorbent and light­weight.

* Dries fast

* Comes in many colours and sizes.

Unlike other membrane/spongy camping/outdoor tow­els:

* You CAN throw this is in the dryer.

* Feels clos­est to a real towel.

* Will not stiffen-up when dry.

Sizes and uses:

*Size XL is best as a bath towel, b/c you can coverup.

*Size L was the orig­i­nal hair/gym towel size — longer and nar­rower. Good for a small child.

*Size M [Shown here] is Hand Towel sized and is good as a Hand Towel and as a kitchen towel. It gets damp but not soggy and will still do its job of dry­ing hands. It is also excel­lent as a doggy foot-towel as the clingi­ness of the weave will help col­lect dirt. The darker colours also help hide stains, but will bleed a lit­tle when washed the first few times. It is col­or­fast after that.

*Size S is wash­cloth sized.

For a softer fluffier ver­sion, look at Aquis’ Diva Col­lec­tion which uses their “Terry” weave.

Super light, super absorbant. Great for dorm, travel. Highly rec­om­mend. (Do NOT bleach or use fab­ric soft­ener on this prod­uct or any microfiber product.)

3 Stars It sould be a 3 1/2 stars
It’s absortion rocks. It’s size isn’t so hot. And if you get the navy like me it sheds a lit­tle in the dryer onto your other clothes witch sucks. It’s price is grt if u could use some­thing of this size. Only wash and dry it with like col­ors or else it will shed or bleed onto other clothes more! It’s feel is good but could be bet­ter. It’s like a thin ver­sion of a super absorbant dou­bled sized wash­cloth. I like the calor alot. The bag is okay I guess. The loop is for easy hang­ing or attach­ing to cer­tain types of bags.
